Naissaar, A Ride To The Women's Island

A photo book about travelling and exploring Naissaar by bicycle. Naissaar is an island situated at the northwest of Tallinn, Estonia.

The area of Naissaar is 18 km², with 9 km length from north to south, and 4 km width. There was no real historical evidence recorded on its original name. Yet, Naissaar has a long history of who ruled the island. Over time, the island has been ruled by Denmark, Germany, the city of Tallinn, Sweden, Russia, the Republic of Estonia, the Soviet Union, and now Estonia again. Naissaar even has been an independent republic for a short time, lasting only for 2 months.
